Torqhost.com - Estonia - XEN/KVM/OpenVZ - starting from 15 € / year - 256 MB / 10GB HDD

Disclaimer:

I am in no way affiliated with Torqhost.com but I have been a customer of theirs for around 7 months. This server was benchmarked and reviewed whilst it was not in production. Therefore it should be noted that the below results are of a server currently being not used.

 Introduction:

Torqhost.com is offering 12 different types of XEN/ KVM/OpenVZ based Virtual Private Servers. Their VPSs are located in Estonia

The cheapest server "Level 0 " costs 15 € per year and is offering:
  •     10GB HDD
  •     2.0 GHz
  •     256 MB RAM
  •     1 Gbps connectivity (it should normally be 100Mbit)
  •     200 GB transfer
  •     full root
  •     SolusVM
I bought the this Level 0 server in order to use it a backup VPN server.

First Start & Support & Communication

You buy the server by the well known WHMCS platform and you will get the login information immediately (as I can remember).
You can reinstall the system at any time by SolusVM.
I never contacted the support yet, because I never had problems, but it looks like they only offer support by ticket 24/7 h.

Hardware Information

# I will contact them in order to know more about their nodes.

Thats a very great results, to be honest, one of the best speedtest I have ever seen. I can recommend Torqhost.com for all people who need a lot of speed. :)

Conclusion:

Torqhost.com is offering one of the cheapest VPSs in Europe. I never had problems with them and my server is running for almost more than a year. I can recommend it to all beginners and linux experts.
